Teresa Green graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is a certified Physician Assistant. She has worked as a Physician Assistant for 13 years and an emergency medicine advance practice provider for 7 years. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and began her medical career in 1997 in the United States Air Force as a medical technician. She served five years active duty and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and later at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Delaware, where she finished her military career.

After Teresa relocated to Delaware from Texas, she practiced mostly in underserved communities of Eastern Shore Maryland until 2009 when she completed her National Health Service Corps scholarship commitment. Through the National Health Service Corps, Teresa worked with other healthcare providers to offer quality care to patients with limited access to healthcare. She says, “I am passionate about everything I do, personally and professionally, or I don’t do it.” That passion and drive motivate her to provide the best possible care to her patients at Physicians Now, whether they come into the clinic with an acute illness or need help managing a chronic condition. She appreciates the cultural diversity of our area, which she has called home since 2014, and is proud to serve the people in her community. She lives her life on her own terms, and she says the only person she competes with is herself. She is a dedicated professional committed to being the best she can be for her patients.

When she is not at work, Teresa loves spending quality time with her daughter or curled up with a good book. She dreams of one day owning and operating her own medical facility – as for her legacy, she says, “I just want to be remembered, nothing more.”
